TURTLE ISLAND: KRYSTALS
"Welcome Family. My name is Parker. I am an 8 year old girl who lives in Fairview, West Virginia, USA. I have a story I would like to tell you. The UNDALRDS are eight brothers, children from the sun, with magnificent powers. Youngest to oldest, names are: #1 Mosi #2 Zeke #3 Big E #4 D.I.G.I #5 Smash #6 X #7 Bam #8 CHEEF SI. This is the story of the day I met CHEEF SI." - Parker
Chapter 1
From the moment I woke up, I knew something was going to be special about this day.
It was rainy and very windy. I woke right up thinking it was just an ordinary Friday. I looked out my window and saw another gloomy rainy day. I washed my face, and brushed my teeth and my hair. Then I put on my favorite jeans and long sleeve shirt with my rainboots, and grabbed my umbrella and headed downstairs. Before I could finish my morning purple smoothie, the clouds disappeared and the sun shined through. It was so bright that it seemed like it was the middle of summer. The birds were chirping and a smile seemed to come to everyone's face, even the mailman.
As I'm finishing up the last sips of my smoothie, gazing out the window, mesmerized by the brightness of the sun's rays, my Dad's voice interrupts my thoughts with, "Parker, are you ready to go?". And without even thinking I reply, "No I'm not. I gotta change my clothes!". I run back upstairs and put on my favorite pink t-shirt and light gray joggers and my most comfortable sneakers because today is gym day. As my Dad yells up from the bottom of the steps, "Parker its time to go!". I reply, "Coming!" as I finish tying my shoes. I run down and off to school I go.
I get to school and it's another Friday... blah blah blah... get in line... be quiet... blah blah blah... get in line... he said this, she said that... blah blah blah... be quiet.... put your hand up... put your hand down. Wash - rinse - repeat. So finally school is over and this is when things get good. I'm always happy hearing the end of school bell on Fridays because it means the weekend is here. And usually we have pizza for dinner and watch a movie. But every now and then, I would say once a month or so, we have my favorite dish - shrimp scampi with broccoli and spaghetti. And I think today is THAT Friday.
So my dad picked me up from school and now I'm gonna take you guys step by step because now this is when the story gets good. The car ride with my dad was mainly me listening to my music and blocking out my dad talking to one of his clients about lawyer stuff. I wanted to ask him if we were having my favorite dinner tonight but he was completely focused on his conversation. As we pulled down my street to come to my house it seemed like the clouds parted and the sun was only shining on MY house. I live near an airport so I'm always looking up as the planes go over and I'm always wondering what those lines are that they leave in the sky. After we pull into my driveway my dad gets out of the car, but he is still talking on the phone so i can't ask him about dinner. So I get out and walk toward the house. I look up and can't believe what I'm seeing. Falling from the sky and landing in my front yard...
....was this little black bag/small sack type thing. It was glowing and it seemed to slow down right before it landed on the grass. Without even thinking, I walked right towards it. The closer I got to it, I could feel... hmmmm... it's really hard to explain, but I could feel a warm friendly connection. As I reached down to pick it up, I could see that it was soft. When I touched it, it felt like velvet. I could tell that there was something inside, like little rocks or stones. It wasn't heavy but I could feel that there was a bunch of something in there. I didn't look inside the bag right away. I wanted to wait until I got inside so my Dad wouldn't see and ask a million questions... where did you get it from... how did you find it... how much did it cost... and on and on. I would have been forced to make something up because the truth was a glowing black bag fell from the sky. Long story short, I didn't want him to see it. So I walked through the front door, put my bookbag on the kitchen table, opened up the refrigerator, and found my favorite drink. I then walked into the living room, jumped on the couch, grabbed the remote control, turned on the TV and took a big deep breath. I looked at the velvet pouch and I could see something still glowing. So I closed my eyes....
Before I opened my eyes and looked into the velvet bag, I was thinking to myself, "What could possibly be in this bag?". Maybe it was diamonds or special beans that turned into a bean stalk, or maybe a neatly folded love letter that was never received, or maybe just some stupid toy ring that lights up. Ahh whatever, I'm just going to open my eyes and see what it is. I carefully opened the bag, and I looked inside. It was not diamonds or beans or a love letter, but it was the most beautiful, magnificent, intriguing, unique and colorful crystals I have ever seen. There was no light, but they were glowing, so I dumped them out and counted ten of them. Their colors were black, pink, grey, clear, purple, dark green, blue, white, brown and light green. They seemed to sparkle on rhythm as if they were trying to communicate with me. I picked up the pink one first and I could feel a warm sensation go down my fingers, through my hand, up my arm and then go throughout my whole body. It was like I was being hugged by my great-great grandma who I've never met but I was so comfortable and warm that you know it was family. I started to cry because it was such a loving feeling, and I don't know why. Then I started laughing thinking of all my baby pictures and how happy everybody was when I was born. I could see holidays with all the family together eating and laughing. So, I put down that crystal and then I picked up the shiny black one. At first it just seemed shiny and black but when I looked closer it was like looking out into space into the universe. I could see stars passing. I could see planets. I could see flowers blooming in trees and fruits like apples, bananas and some I'm not even sure what they were. They were all magnificent colors like purple, pink, blue and green and some colors and shapes I can't even describe. Then it got really bright almost like we left that planet and were headed toward the sun. I had to put it down because it got so bright, I couldn't even look at it anymore. The next one I picked up was the light green one and it had like little crystals inside the big crystal. This is very hard to explain so I hope you all are understanding what I'm saying. I'm looking at this crystal and it's like looking into a miniature TV. The closer I looked I could see a boy. Like I don't know, like a boy my age. He had long dark brown hair and he looked like he was on a mountain doing karate moves or superhero moves like my cousin who was annoying, always kicking, punching, and spitting on you making noises with his mouth pretending to be a Marvel superhero. But this kid was not my cousin and he looked like he knew what he was doing. Now this is where it gets VERY weird. As I'm looking at this kid doing his thing, he looked right at me almost as if he could see me. So, to see for sure, I waved at him, and he waved back. I literally dropped the crystal. I could not believe what I had just saw. As I'm looking to find the crystal that I just dropped amongst all the other crystals, they all seemed to glow and blink at the same time. It was almost like my brain was on overload and I felt extremely tired so I thought I would take a quick nap and then wake up and go tell my Dad. That's the last thing I remember...
Do you ever have that feeling when you are first waking up that you aren't sure if you are dreaming, or you are awake? Well, if you have, then you know exactly how I was feeling. My eyes were closed but I could feel people in the room with me. I was almost too scared to open up my eyes to even check and see. It felt so cold. And even though I remember being on the couch, I wished that I was in my bed under all the blankets because it felt that cold.
As I started to focus in on the sounds that I was hearing, I could make out my favorite TV show's theme music coming on. So, I was thinking it must be about 6 o'clock. This would mean I had been asleep for about two hours. Underneath the sound of my favorite song, which is sooooo beautiful and very special to me because it makes me feel pretty and like the most special girl in the world, I could hear a voice yelling something. I tried to ignore it and focus on the warmth of my favorite song while at the same time fighting the coldness and the underlying terrifying feeling that people are all around me if I open my eyes. What had finally got my attention was hearing my name being called from somebody far away. The voice sounded like the voice of another kid warning me of something. When I concentrated, I was able to hear exactly what the voice was saying. It said, "Parker wake up! Parker wake up! Parker wake up, you are in danger! They are coming for the crystals! Parker wake up!". Then the next four words shocked me to my core and instantly made me wake up. The four words that I heard were - THEY HAVE YOUR DAD. At that moment, I woke up hoping to see and feel like I was awake, and everything that I had just felt was a dream. But it was not.
On the TV was my favorite show, ISEEKR (pronounced Eyeseeker), but it felt much later than 6pm because it was so dark and cold. That beautiful sunny day that was there when I went to sleep was replaced with this cold cloudy creepy dreary day. The wind was blowing through my house, and I could hear what seemed like footsteps upstairs. My first instinct was to rub my eyes and say, "I wonder what time it is" and get up. I looked out the window to make sure my dad's car was still in the driveway, which it was. But even though his car was there something just didn't feel right. I walked down the hallway through the kitchen. He was not there. I walked up the steps. At the top of the steps to the left is his office. I looked in and he was not there. Down the hall, coming from my dad's master bedroom, I could hear water running. So, I instantly hurried down the hall towards his room. I passed my bedroom without even looking in. With every step I felt safer and safer as I was about to let my dad know this crazy weird dream I just had. As I walked into his bedroom, I turned to the left and went into his bathroom. Right away I noticed that I didn't see the shadow of my dad through the frosted glass shower walls and door. I yelled "Dad!" and pulled the door open. The horror that hit my body almost knocked me down to the ground. Everything ran through my head at the same time. Why would my dad's car be in the driveway and the shower be on and HE'S NOT IN IT? I have never been left alone in my entire life. Why is it so dang cold? Why did I hear a voice in my dream telling me to wake up? I am in danger, and they have my dad. Does this have anything to do with the crystals that fell from the sky into my front yard? I tried to take a deep breath, but no air was coming in. I yelled for my dad one more time, "Dad!".
My legs were trembling as I walked back down the hallway because I had this eerie feeling that something else was in the house with me and it was not my dad. I cautiously walked back down the stairs. Then back down the hallway. Back into the living room, and the crystals were GONE. And then this flash thing happened to me. The only way I can describe it is that I got this vision of this kid. The same kid I saw in the crystals. But it was just his eyes with a blue mask on, and he said something I didn't really understand. Or even know if I'm pronouncing it right. I think he said LINAO. I remember hearing the same word on my favorite TV show before. The main character, Iseekr, used it when she came across a problem. But as quickly as I saw that vision, it disappeared. And now my only hope and only chance at sanity was if my dad for some reason forgot to turn the shower off and he was out back in the pool. Which would have been really weird and really strange because it was so cold. Which is also weird and strange because it is not winter. It is May 7th, but it felt like a winter day in the middle of West Virginia in the month of December. So I ran to the window that overlooks my back yard and all I could say was "oh my god" ....
ONE... TWO... Oh my... THREE... FOUR... holy... FIVE... SIX... I don't think I'm ready for this... SEVEN... EIGHT... and my legs could not take it anymore. The bottom half of my body turned left and started walking away. The top part of my body was stuck frozen at the window looking at NINE... TEN... ELEVEN... TWELVE... ninja masked, zombie possessed, creepily moving.... kids??? The bottom half of my body finally won and forced the top half of my body to unite for the same cause of getting out of there as soon as possible. But for some reason, I couldn't run. I could only walk sort of fast. I was so scared and so confused that I didn't even know which direction to go. As I turned right and walked down the hallway towards the kitchen it started to feel like someone was behind me. I thought to myself, "If I go into the kitchen I will be trapped, but there are also weapons in the kitchen... like knives...a rolling pin... maybe I could grab a big heavy pot to defend myself." But before I had a chance to finish thinking that through, the bottom half of my body had already decided to turn left and head toward the front door. I definitely felt something behind me, but I was too terrified to look back.
As I was walking toward the front door, I saw my shadow. I was thinking that maybe if I got to the front door I could open it up, get outside, and get to the neighbors house. But at that moment, I saw a bigger shadow overtake my shadow, and I realized the door was locked and I wouldn't be able to unlock it, open it, and get outside quickly enough. This time the bottom half of my body and the top half of my body were thinking the same thing at the same time because they both made an abrupt left up the stairs. I was still unable to bring myself to look back, but I knew for certain something or somebody or many bodies were behind me because I could hear their footsteps coming up the stairs. As I reached the top step, I knew if I went left into my dad's office there would be a gun and a phone and a secret hidden crawl space I could hide in and be safe until whatever this is or whoever they are left, or until I woke up and realized this whole thing was just a dream and/or a weird exaggerated sick product of my imagination that I created to scare myself for no reason on this random day in May. My body top and bottom decided to head right and then make another quick right into my room.
Out of the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of what was behind me. I ran around my bed, crouched down, and climbed under as quickly as possible. My heart was beating out of my chest. I was holding my breath. I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. I saw ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR shoes enter my room. They both were just standing there. I also saw more shoes walk past my door and down the hall to my dads room. I waited. I gasped. I was so scared. I had never been that scared in my entire life. I had no idea what was about to happen next. I wondered to myself "Are they going to take me away somewhere? Are they going to do something terrible to me here? Are all my friends going to see what happened to me on the news? Why me?" One set of shoes walked toward the door as if they were about to walk out. The other set also turned as if they were about to walk out. "Are they leaving?" I thought to myself. Then, I heard something downstairs. I saw the shoes that were headed toward my dads room run back past my doorway. I could hear them quickly running back down the stairs toward the noise. Right then, the two sets of shoes that were in my room turned back around towards me. One set stayed at the doorway and one came over to the bed. I could see the blanket on the bed start to lift up as if someone was about to look under the bed.
I closed my eyes in terror. But then, I heard this voice. It was a whisper," LINAO". Three times. I heard it again like it was under the bed with me, "LINAO... LINAO... LINAO". I looked down and I could see glowing in my pocket. It was the crystals. They were glowing. The black one was on top. As I looked at it, it made me feel so comfortable and safe. I don't know how, but at that time I just KNEW it was safe to come out from under the bed. So I very slowly began to slide myself out. As I did this, I found myself face to face with a pair of eyes, like literally three inches from my face was someone's face. Their eyes actually weren't mean looking at all. I could tell it was another kid's eyes, but glossed over. Like they were about ready to cry. They looked very sad and almost like they wanted to tell me something. But I was still so scared that I just kept pulling myself forward, pushing my body just enough to get my waist out from under the bed so I could stand up.
I quickly turned my head left and looked at the other one in my doorway. It wasn't looking at me. It was looking down at my bed as if I was still under the bed. They both looked frozen and I could tell that they were girls, maybe eleven or twelve years old. It was almost as if they froze and they were stuck in time. I walked VERY slowly past them, never taking my eyes off them. I walked out into the hallway. I looked toward my Dad's room and I knew that he wasn't there so I turned left and walked down the steps. I took the first step, then the second step. And then I heard a voice coming from the living room, "LINAO!" It was that voice. A familiar voice. I wondered if it could be that kid from the crystals that warned me to wake up because it sounded exactly like the same voice. As I took my third step down the stairs, I looked toward the living room. And I froze. I saw a sharp wooden sword come around the corner with the letters on it C-H-E-E-F-S-I. If there is a reward for having the worst day of your life, that next moment was my reward.
As if in slow motion, this kid appears from around the corner coming out of my living room. The most beautiful, gorgeous, magnificent boy that my eyes had ever seen walked towards me and I literally, for like the eighth time that day, froze in place and could not say a thing. As I was standing there in awe of my knight in shining armour that came to save me, the silence was broken by his voice that yells, "PARKER COME ON! LET'S GO! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE". He grabbed my hand and said, "My name is CHEEF SI''. And at that moment, as all I can focus on is the fact that he is touching my hand, he screams, "RUN! Just as he was about to open the door for me and lead me outside to safety a foot came crashing through the door and hit Cheef Si right in his chest.
He went flying backward and he yelled again for me to run. I could see ONE... TWO... THREE... ninja zombie kids coming through the doors. But these ones looked bigger and stronger than the ones that were upstairs in my bedroom. I jumped down off the steps and made a quick right and ran down the hallway as fast as I could. Then I made another right, and again ran as fast as I could down another hall and made a left right into my dads meditation room... that has no way out... great.
I had backed myself into a corner. I could hear Cheef Si fighting out there. And I started thinking, "If he's just a kid and is fighting, then I'm just a kid and I can fight them too. I have been scared all day, and I am sick and tired of being scared. I am sick and tired of being cold. I don't know where my dad is. I am hungry. There's a pretty cool kid in my house and my hair is completely messed up. I have had enough!" As I balled my fists and got ready for the greatest battle of my life, two killer zombie ninjas started walking toward me. I looked down and saw my crystals glowing. This time they were glowing so bright that I couldn't see anything anymore. It was so incredibly bright that I was completely blinded, and I literally saw nothing but white.
When I woke, I heard that familiar voice again. It was the boy, Cheef Si. I opened my eyes, and I was laying on a strangely comfortable yet hard surface. I could feel that I was outside because I felt the wind on my face. As I tried to focus my eyes on where I heard the voices coming from, I heard them talking. One was Cheef Si, and it sounded like he was upset, and he was talking about me, "What was I supposed to do just leave her there?! They took her dad, AND they have the crystals!" And then the other voice says, "They have the crystals?!" Cheef Si replied, "Yes, Prince Aiden, they have the crystals, but not all of them. Just the cypher crystal." Then the other voice that Cheef Si called a Prince angrily asked, "How did you lose the cypher crystal?!" Cheef Si answered, "I didn't. The girl must have dropped it."
When I got my eyes focused, I realized that we were high up on a mountain.... but then quickly noticed we were also moving. Then I thought that maybe we were on a plane or maybe a hot air balloon... or.... NOPE. The moment I realized that I was sitting on a flying turtle is one I will definitely never forget. A flying TURTLE! A turtle... that is FLYING! So then, Cheef Si and Prince Aiden heard me screaming and came running over and explained everything that was going on. Well, at least as much as I could understand.
Prince Aiden said, "Hi! My name is Prince Aiden. I am from earth too. Don't be alarmed. We are not here to hurt you."
In the background Cheef Si yelled, "LINAO!".
Prince Aiden looked at me and said, "Don't worry about him. You are safe. I'm sure you have a lot of questions. What is your name?"
I told him my name is Parker and he replied, "Ok great. Parker, you live on Earth and Cheef Si, that's him over there..." As he pointed to the kid who came and saved my life. ".... Was training at a place called Turtle Island and he accidentally dropped the crystals that ended up in your front yard where you picked them up. Now those crystals are very important and very powerful to our people. There is an evil, evil, evil, energy/robot called Tamahu."
Again, in the background, Cheef Si yells, "No Problems, Only Solutions! LINAO!"
I asked prince Aiden, "Why does he keep yelling that?"
Prince Aiden explains, "He is one of the UNDALRD members. They are an elite fighting bloodline that defends all the youth in the universe. He has been raised and trained in war and nature. But being that you are a kid, you are completely safe around him because his job is to protect all kids. Sometimes he talks in war chants. For example, LINAO means Losing Is Not An Option. Also, any time there is a problem he only yells out solutions. He doesn't understand defeat, losing, or even having a problem. Oh, and he usually will remind you that he is Number 8."
"Ok, so who is this Tamahu robot thingy?" I asked him.
And prince Aiden replied, "He is the guy that is responsible for the kidnapping of your father. He comes and kidnaps Moms and Dads and turns them into clowns. That's why there are always two clowns. If you see one there's always another nearby. They are bigger and stronger, but they cannot hear. They only have eyesight. Tamahu then turns the kids into his Yaku Army. It takes three Yaku Army babies to turn an Earth kid into a Yaku Army member. Once a kid is turned into Yaku Army he or she will also lose their hearing, and fear will be the only thing they can see. Some are strong, some are fast, some are coordinated, and some are clumsy. Tamahu wants those crystals because he knows that with the crystals, he will have the power to defeat the UNDALRD army."
"LINAO!" Cheef Si yells very angrily in the background.
"Why is he so angry and upset?" I ask.
"Well, because he was sent to Biggity City to be safe because his parents were kidnapped. While he was at Biggity City he went to an Earth Day party where all the kids dress up like kids from Earth. And they asked him to come to Earth and finish his training to help defend Earth." he said.
"Why is Earth so special?" I asked....
Chapter 2: Prince Aiden
Prince Aiden passionately replied, "Did you just say 'why is Earth so special?!?'"
First of all, let me reintroduce myself. My name is Prince Aiden. I am #9 and Son of Mosi, UNDALRD Member #1. I am the Minister of Information, and you MUST know just how special Earth is. Earth is the Nursery of the Universe. All life begins here. Where you live is actually known as Inner Earth. If you take the last letter in the word Earth and move it to the beginning of the word, it spells Heart. What makes the Heart so special is that it has its own Sun. Every animal, every plant, every insect, all the water and all the air in the entire universe, started here, and then spread everywhere.
My Great-Granddad and my Granddad are the bloodline that protects Turtle Island, which is the surface of this planet. This planet is known throughout the Universe as The O. Turtle Island is where we are about to land right now. It is the protection for the Nursery, which you call Earth, but we call the Heart of Turtle Island. All of the kids born within Inner Earth have special powers. And once they elevate, they graduate to help on other planets or even start their own planets. Some stay, and work either in the Nursery or on the surface in the UNDALRD army.....
And at that moment, just when I was giving Parker the greatest description and answer of how special Earth is, Cheef Si came running over and yelled, "Hey! We are approaching Turtle Island. Lets get inside the shell and egg up."
And Parker, just as any normal living creature in the universe would do, asked, "Ummmm what does egg up mean???"
So I awkwardly and reluctantly told her that I will explain in greater detail later, but for now you are just going to have to jump inside this sack. It's gonna feel wet and slimy, and it's going to cover your whole face and your clothes. It will get dark. But you will still be able to hear me and Cheef Si talking to you. And then you are going to hear a humming vibration. It will start off low but then get very loud, and before you know it, you will be asleep. Then, you will wake up and we will be at Turtle Island. Me and Cheef Si helped Parker get into her sack, and then we both jumped into our own sacks yelling, "Bazooka!". And just like I said, it was wet, slimy, dark, humming vibration, sleep, and then wake up in Turtle Island.
Cheef Si is always the first to wake, and I can always hear him yelling, "I'm alive, I'm alive, Happy Birthday to me!".
I open my eyes, and there's Cheef Si telling me to "Wake up! Wake up!". I fully opened my eyes, and the first thing I thought of is "Did something happen to Parker? Did she freak out?". But Cheef Si quickly assured me that it was MUCH worse than that. In Cheef Si's exact words here is what he said, "O Word O Word! LINAO! No Problems Only Solutions! LINAO! Sarapus got my Cypher Crystal and is trying to bait me! O Word O Word! O Mo O Mo! O IF! He thinks it's never going to be over. Oh it's going to be over. I'm going to be dancing on his head! It's over, it's over, it's over, it's over, it's over, it's over, it's over, it's over.... ".
And right at about the 57th "it's over, it's over", I had to interrupt him by grabbing him and yelling, "Cheef Si, what are you talking about?!". Eventually, he finally calmed down and was able to explain to me what some of his friends from the Nursery/Inner Earth/The Heart had told him.
Before I go any further, let me explain to you who Cheef Si's friends are, and also the meaning of some of the things he says. His friends are all the plants and animals in nature. You might see him talking to a tree or the grass or ants. Take Speedy for example, what we see is a giant battleship Ta-Seti turtle. What Cheef Si sees is an old copper-colored Native American Pequot Indian. When you see him talking to the hawk, Eyeseeker, he sees a beautiful angelic woman with the essence of his Mother. All we see is him talking to a bird. I say that to say this. He gets information ALL the time.. from EVERYWHERE... and it is always right on point. In his words, the definition for O Mo is "I challenge you", the definition of O Word is "yes, challenge accepted". LINAO stands for losing is not an option. And bazooka means any word that means great or victory or congratulations.
Ok, now back to the story. What I was saying was that Cheef Si got information from his friends that Sarapus, who is Tamahu's son and also one of the Generals in the Yaku Army, stole the Cypher Crystal from the house where Cheef Si battled his army and saved Parker. There was also a message for Cheef Si and myself. Sarapus's message said "If the Cypher Crystal is what you seek, do not hide, but come and find your precious rock. You will not be alone, for you are not the only one looking for a reason to find me." Immediately, I asked Cheef Si what that meant, and he explained to me that Sarapus has the Cypher Crystal, and he wants us to come find it. And we aren't the only ones looking for the cypher crystal, so we will probably have to battle more Yaku Army members.
I wondered to myself and then asked aloud "What if this is a trap?".
Then most importantly and urgently I yelled, "Do you know what this really means!?!?".
What this meant was that Sarapus had found the location of the Nursery. He made it inside the Heart.
Cheef Si yelled, "LINAO!"
Ok so, not only do we now have to go get the Cypher Crystal, but we must ALSO get Sarapus out of Earth and off of Turtle Island. At least we have all of the crystals except for the Cypher Crystal. I told Cheef Si to go get his sword and his bow and arrow and whatever else he needs. I also told him to tell Eyeseeker to watch over the still sleeping Parker while we are gone.
"I'm gonna go get Speedy to take me home because I live in the Nursery and it's my job to make sure if anything negative gets to Inner Earth to neutralize it.", I said to Cheef Si.
Cheef Si asked, "I've only been to Inner Earth once, and that was to retrieve the crystals. Well... I mean outside of my birth of course. What should I wear and how will I be able to blend in?"
"Don't worry about it. I will bring you clothes." I responded, and then said, "You just make sure you bring your bow and arrows and your shoes and your battle tactics."
We both looked at eachother and we realized that we have a huge job in front of us and that if we are not successful it could mean the destruction of The O, the Nursery, Turtle Island and the entire universe.
Cheef Si looked at me and said, "Operate like this, operate like that."
I responded by saying, "Yes, we must go to work! Ok lets go! Let's not waste any time!"
Cheef Si replied saying, "Yes! I bet I'm gonna make Sarapus dance! And speaking of time, I have a friend in the Heart of the Nursery that's an expert on time."
I don't know what Cheef Si meant by that, but I do know he has something up this sleeve... well... up his arm... because he doesn't have a shirt yet.
So I told Cheef Si I would meet him at the location where the message was sent from... USA, Fairview, West Virginia, house by the lake.
I ran and found Speedy who was relaxing in a field humming away, "Ooooooooooooomm... Ooooooooooommm...".
"Speedy! Speedy!", I yelled. "I am Prince Aiden, UNDALRD #9, and I need you to take me home NOW!"
Speedy woke up. I egged up. And back to the Heart we went.
When I arrived, I quickly stopped at my home and went inside to tell my Mother, "Hey Mom! You are the best Mom in the world, and you raised a bright and beautiful son who cannot answer any questions right now. But trust me, I am the one that will never bring shame to your name. THEO!". THEO means love in our language.
Then, I immediately went and found my driver and told him to transport me to the house by the lake in Fairview, West Virginia. On the drive there from where I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I noticed MANY ancient mounds and pyramids that were built by my ancestors, the Olmecs. There were also A LOT more trees.
When we arrived, there were already other kids there. I wasn't sure if they were Nijii, which means family or friends, or if they were Tamahu Yaku enemies. I instructed my driver to stop right in front of the lake house. My power fist was completely charged up. I had on my power shoes that can help me leap 9 feet in the air and run as fast as my Dad, Mosi, who is the fastest of all the UNDALRDS members. My Dad's powers are that he is as fast as the wind, and is able to disappear and reappear in different locations. My Mom has the power of ice. She can turn anything into a chilly.....
Hold up, wait a minute! I spotted Cheef Si! Ok great! He made it!
We approached each other.
"Oh Brand New Day! What can I say!", we said to each other.
We use the phrase "Brand New Day" because everyday is special and unique, and is to be appreciated. On Earth, specific and individually named days of the week are traditionally used because Tamahu infiltrated the universe with this way of thinking.
As we do our secret handshake, Cheef Si very obviously notices a very pretty Nordic girl with long blonde hair. She didn't seem to be a Yaku member. I had to refocus Cheef Si as his one and only weakness is pretty girls.
We needed to hurry up and blend in because more kids continued to arrive. Cheef Si was still wearing his warrior arm bands and Wakanda necklace, and carrying his sword and bow and arrow. He also was not wearing a shirt. So I told my driver to pop the trunk of the car, and showed Cheef Si a selection of shirts and hats to choose from. He picked a white shirt. And then he picked a black hat that had the letters "WV" on it representing the State of West Virginia which was our geographical location at that moment.
Another girl ran past us so fast we couldn't even see her. Right then we realized we were NOT the only ones there with special powers.
Cheef Si looked at me and excitedly said, "Prince Aiden, I THEO this place already! The kids here seem to all have abilities AND their energy is all positive. My Nijii, birds and plants and insects, are all telling me these kids are all good and are here to find their loved ones as well."
I told him, "GREAT! Let's talk to them and unite as ONE to defeat Tamahu!"
As we approached the front door, another car pulled up and a little girl got out. She had a driver also, and I could tell she was of royalty and/or importance. She told whomever she was talking to on the phone that they'd better have her money or she didn't understand what they were talking about. She walked right past us up to the front door and pressed the button.
I definitely would have rather found a secret way in. Or at the very least looked in the windows to get an idea of how many people were in there. But I stood there, ready for anything, along with the tall pretty blonde girl behind me, the fast girl, and some other boy who appeared out of nowhere with glowing skin wearing a genius shirt.
Cheef Si whispered to me, "Don't worry about him. He can stop time, and is from my Dad's Tribe."
I guess that's what Cheef Si meant when he mentioned he had friends that might help.
Cheef Si said, "His name is Bradley."
The little girl who rang the doorbell was getting impatient.
Then the pretty girl stated, "Someone is going to open the door and say welcome, no weapons allowed."
As I went to turn and look at her, the door opened and a tall scary hooded masked man repeated exactly what the girl had just said, "Welcome. No weapons allowed". I looked at her and asked her how she knew that. Her response was "I just know".
There were two guards waiting in the entrance to take our weapons. Cheef Si went first, and he was not happy, but told them, "LINAO! With or without my sword and bow and arrow, I am leaving here with the Cypher Crystal and it will be Over, Over, Over, Over, Over......"
I went next. And just like Cheef Si, my power comes from within, so I gave my chains and watch without hesitation. They didn't realize my power punch and power shoes get charged up from the sun. The fast girl went in quickly. Bradley made the electric go out, and passed through undetected.
The little girl that was on the phone was not happy about the security check. She resisted quite a bit, exclaiming in the process, "Do you know who I am?! I am Kiliana, Master of all Weapons! You do not want to mess with me!". The guards responded with silence, and she reluctantly decided to enter. She also somehow managed to fit 144 weapons into the tiny purse she was carrying.
As we entered the house and gathered together in a group, the hooded and masked creepy sounding Tamahu Yaku Army General informed us we would be playing a game of hide and seek. He explained that if we survived for 57 minutes, we would get the Cypher Crystal back and we would be reunited with our families. I thought to myself, "This is gonna be easy! We are too fast for this old guy AND we have soooo many different tactics to get away and escape being captured. Anything he can do, we can do better."
The pretty girl, who must be able to see the future, walked quietly away RIGHT BEFORE the creepy loud voice told us the game would begin in 5.7 seconds, and we would be hunted down by a super fast robot hoodie masked guy named 8 Faces. He calls himself that because he has eight different faces. And depending on his mood, he switches his face.
So this 8 Faces guy started counting... 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... U...N...D... A... L... R... D... S... as he slowly turned around to face us. His face, if you can call it that, and glowing red eyes were terrifying. The fast girl used her speed and instantly ran away. The little girl, Kiliana, looked at him in disbelief, but then quickly exited the room. Bradley appeared to become glitchy, and then he disappeared.
I was shocked that he spelled out UNDALRDS. "How did he know our name???" I wondered.
Cheef Si, who has never played hide and seek, or even heard of hide and seek, interpreted the instructions for the game as a combat challenge. He powered up, yelled out "LINAO!", and was ready to fight. I had to explain to him that if we wanted to win, we had to run and hide.
8 Faces was fast. And he went after the fast girl first.
I told Cheef Si to follow me. The first thing I wanted to do was explore the house and see all of our hiding options. There was a huge indoor pool room, and for some reason it was extremely cold. It didn't make any sense how cold it was, so we definitely did not want to hide in there. We left the pool room through a doorway that led us to a bathroom. We immediately noticed that it was really hard to think in this room and our heads began to hurt. This also was not a good room to hide in. We got out of there as fast as we could.
From there, we ended up in a hallway where Bradley approached us, and very seriously stated, "This is NOT a normal house". He informed us that he had not yet located any of the Parents or the Cypher Crystal. However, he did assure us that he was still looking. He also warned us of the game room downstairs, and said, "There are no clocks or any way to keep track of time. So be very careful. LINAO!".
Me and Cheef Si responded in unison, "LINAO!".
From behind us, we heard a voice. "What does LINAO mean?", it said.
We turned around and it was the little girl. And she looked scared.
"LINAO means Losing Is Not An Option!", Cheef Si explained just a little too loudly.
She then said, "I'm not fast and they took all of my weapons. I'm scared."
"With LINAO you never have a reason to be scared", I reassured her, and then told her, "Come with me. I will get him to chase me, and you can go hide."
She said, "Thanks. I won't forget this. I'm here to find my family."
To which I said, "Ok. We are all on the same side."
Cheef Si and Bradley decided to go and continue looking for the Cypher Crystal.
Me and Kiliana ran into the kitchen and hid under the table. 8 Faces came in, and I noticed that he had wheels on his shoes. We waited for him to go past us and look behind the refrigerator. And then, we jumped out from under the table and ran out of the kitchen. 8 Faces quickly turned and started chasing us. I yelled, "Kiliana GO!"
She got out in front of me and ran down the hall into a room at the very end. I zig-zagged, with 8 Faces just inches from touching me, and then ran down the same hall. Instead of running into the room with the little girl, I made a right. 8 Faces followed us down the hall, stopped at the doorway to the room where Kiliana was hiding, and then went to the right and followed me.
I ran down another hallway and through a door that was already opened. No matter how fast I went, 8 Faces was able to keep up. Even after I turned on my power sneakers, he was right behind me every step of the way. But then, I had an idea. I wondered if he would be able to keep up with me going up stairs. I ran through another door that led to a set of stairs. As I raced up the steps, I WAS able to get a little bit of distance between us. I noted to myself that I needed to get this information to the others, so that they are aware he has a slight weakness on staircases.
Next, I entered a room with a divider separating it into sections. I hid behind the divider, and I was able to look through its holes to the other side. I saw a hallway. And then, I saw 8 Faces roll right by me. I hopped out from behind the divider and began following the masked robot creature. So now, I was chasing 8 Faces.
But here's the weirdest thing. As I was following him, I could see in the reflection of the pictures and windows in the hallway that 8 Faces was chasing me. I thought to myself, "Wait a minute!? How could I possibly be seeing 8 Faces BOTH in FRONT of me AND 8 Faces BEHIND me?! Wait! There's TWO 8 Faces!? What the heck is going on?!"
I needed to find Cheef Si and the others, and warn them that this was a trap. On the way, I went back past the bedroom that Kiliana was hiding in to make sure she was ok, but she was gone. "O L.O.R.D. I really hope she didn't get caught," I thought.
